The Sorrento Foreshores Camp Site are managed by the Mornington Peninsula Shire, Sorrento foreshore camping is available from the last weekend of October to April. The Sorrento foreshore camping grounds offer both powered and non-powered sites for caravans and tents.

At the very tip of Mornington Peninsula with the rough swells of Bass Strait on one side and the sheltered sweep of Port Phillip Bay on the other lies the Sorrento Foreshore Camping Grounds Reserve. It faces across the bay while behind it are the historic limestone buildings of Sorrento township. You can also catch a ferry from Sorrento across the mouth of Port Phillip Bay to the attractive town of Queenscliff on the Bellarine Peninsula.

Foreshore camping on the Mornington Peninsula has a long standing generational tradition. Rosebud, Rye and Sorrento are considered key destination spots for a seaside camping holiday. The Sorrento camping area is approximately 35 hectares accommodating 142 sites.
