Diamond Bay and St Paul’s are two small pockets of sand lying at the base of 30 m high calcarenite bluffs. They are fronted by a reef and rock dominated surf zone. Diamond Bay Road and St Paul’s Road both lead to car parks behind each beach. However access to the beaches requires a steep climb down steps.
Swimming
Diamond Bay Beach is set deep inside the bay with two points protecting it. It usually has low waves at the beach and is suitable for relatively safe bathing at high tide. St Paul's is not only difficult to reach, but has higher waves at high tide and more rocks and reefs along the beach.
Surfing
No rideable waves at either beach.
Fishing
Diamond Bay is a popular location as it offers a slightly more protected section of coast, with extensive rock platforms in the bay and on adjacent Jubilee Point.
General
Two small beaches, with only Diamond Bay offering some relatively safe bathing.
