Sorrento Park

Sorrento Park

The Sorrento Park, established in 1870, contains a variety of trees, including an Aleppo Pine grown from the seed of the Lone Pine of Gallipoli.

Sorrento Park on Pt Nepean Rd is home to an amazing large wooden park with wonderful bay views, beautifully landscaped gardens, a wonderful playground, perfect lawns for picnicking, and beautiful big cedar shade trees in the summer.

The playground is a wooden castle construction and the pickets surrounding the playground have family’s names on them that helped fund the playground. It has a great community spirit to it and is surprisingly unpretentious for the area. The views are absolutely stunning all year round.

The park has many BBQs dotted throughout the park and there is a rotunda that is very popular for couples getting married. Facilities are always well maintained and there is plenty of car parking.
